Counter Balance (Stefano, Maurizio, Edward, Aaron, Isaac) and Roberta are the Official Winners of the 2009 edition of the WYD Song Contest organised by KDZ. This edition of the song contest is the first of a cycle of three that will lead us to World Youth Day 2011, which will be celebrated in Madrid, Spain. The theme proposed by Pope Benedict XVI for the year 2009 is “We have set our hope on the living God” (1 Tim 4, 10). The Official Song with the name - Tamitna FiH - which was chosen during the Contest held on Saturday 18th April 2009, will accompany Maltese young people on their spiritual journey during 2009. The band participated with another 9 local bands, including some established names. We are all proud of you guys!! Well Done!!
