Salesian Oratory - Sliema

7 teams, 44 players, 6 hours, 21 games, 50+ supporters...one aim – have some good Salesian fun. A great atmosphere was created for what was nicknamed as Football Fever – a double Inter Oratory Football Tournament taking place at the Sliema and Dingli Oratories with participants from all the Salesian Houses. The first of these tournaments which took place on the 7th of November at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema saw 7 teams compete for the first and second place. The tournament started at 3pm with instructions and a short prayer from Bro Kenneth and Bro Clive. The day finished with a moment of prayer, together with all members of the Preteens Section, and the presentation of trophies. A word of thanks goes to Sandro Pecorella, David Camilleri and Manuel Micallef for their help in the tournament. Thanks also to all the Salesians and other people who came to visit us. The next Tournament will be held on the 9th of January at the Oratory in Dingli.
