Salesian Oratory - Sliema

On Friday 7 August the Oratory organised its yearly trip to Comino, having all our members young and old joining in. The boat left for Comino at around 9.30am from the Ferries packed with Oratory members only (circa 120 in all). On arrival at around 11am everyone sped off for a quick dip before being treated to a full buffet meal plus drinks on board at around noon. Once the meal was over, it was back to the beautiful limpid waters of the Blue Lagoon where we had over 3 hours of swimming, diving and lots of fun in the water! Time sped too quickly and before we knew it, we had to board the boat again for the long trip home during which the younger ones where treated to some of their favourite modern music hits whilst the older generation was quietly dozing off in the deck below. It was a fantastic family outing and a very big "prosit" goes to the organisers!
