Salesian Oratory - Sliema

The Salesian Youth Centre (SYC) is an environment of broad acceptance, open to a wide range of young people, above all those most alienated. This is achieved through a diversity of educational and evangelizing activities characterized by their focus on the young and strong personal relationships between the educator and the youngster. We promote a family atmosphere of acceptance and education animated by a community of Salesians and lay collaborators, with the 'preventive' criteria according to the educative style of don Bosco. The SYC's main activities are socio-cultural, religious. It strives to provide a healthy day-to-day space where young people can meet and make friends. Emphasis is put on the holistic approach towards growth. Drama, music, media productions, leadership training & practice and sport are some of our means by which we try to achieve such goals. We cater for male and female young people, aged 14-18 years (teens) & 19+(youths).
