PreTeens and Juniors

The PreTeens and Juniors' Club caters for boys and girls from 7 to 13 years of age. Aiming at offering daily safe recreation as well as sound Christian and civil formation, it helps parents in the assistance of their family. Our PreTeens and Juniors join in the overall activities of the Oratory, namely, like being Brigade members and altar servers, choir members and actors. A newly fully equipped building was inaugurated in 1990 to further facilitate our work with this section.

Feast of Don Bosco

The Salesian Family at the Oratory wishes all its members, and their families and friends a happy feast, tomorrow 31st January 2012, the feast day of St. John Bosco, our father, guide and friend!

- at 7:30pm - Don Bosco film in the Teatru Salesjan. (refer to poster)

- 9.45 am - Family picnic/dog walk/BBQ (organised by SB in collaboration with SPCA), limits of Dingli. (Price: 2 euro excluding transport and BBQ)

Oratory goes Christmas Caroling!

The Oratory will be organising an evening of Christmas Caroling in specific locations in Sliema. The event will take place on Friday 23rd of December. We will meet up at the Oratory at 6pm for a quick briefing/rehearsal and we will leave for our destination at 7.30pm. A Christmassy evening is guaranteed!

THE MAGIC OF MUSIC

THE MAGIC OF MUSIC
This is the title of the next show being staged by Atturi Salesjani. This is a spectacular show featuring dancing and singing to 30 popular film soundtracks, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jaws, Nine, Moulin Rouge, Hawaii 5 0, Narnia, Men in Black etc.
It is the production team’s wish that we have the participation of parents/adults amongst our cast. A song is being prepared specifically for you with light steps and simple choreography.

Eurovision Pasta Night 2010

Malta, represented by Thea Garrett has failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which was held on Saturday 29th May. However, this sad result did not inhibit our plan to hold the annual Eurovision Pasta Night as planned. In fact, work had started some days before Saturday with several parents and helpers preparing three types of sauces, deliciously made with love. 140 people attended the event, so much so, that the Youth Centre was crammed with tables, chairs and "supporters" shouting their heads off!
